Short version: Moodelito collects no data. What you log in the app stays on your device, and nobody but you can access it, not even me.
Last updated: November 2, 2026
The app has no server, no user account, no analytics and no ads. No information leaves your device, unless you choose to send a backup by email yourself.
1. Who is responsible?
Moodelito is developed and published by Alexandre Noret, an independent developer based in France. For any question about this policy: alexandre@noret.eu.
2. Data you enter in the app
| Data | Where it is stored | Who can access it |
|---|---|---|
| Daily mood, activities, note | In the app's private storage, on your device | Only you |
| Your custom activity list | App preferences, on your device | Only you |
| Settings (reminder on/off, reminder time) | App preferences, on your device | Only you |
This data is never sent to me or to any third party. Because moods can reflect your health, I chose to collect nothing rather than protect it on a server.
If iCloud Backup or computer backup is turned on for your device, iOS includes Moodelito's data just like that of all your apps. Those backups are managed by Apple under its own privacy policy; I have no access to them.
3. The daily reminder
The reminder is a local notification: iOS schedules it directly on your device at the time you chose. No push server is used and no identifier is sent anywhere. The app asks for permission to show notifications; you can revoke it at any time in iOS Settings.
4. Email backup
If you use Backup via mail, the app opens a draft in Apple's Mail app with your days attached (JSON file). You choose the recipient and decide whether to send it. The email then goes through your email provider, like any email you send. I do not receive it unless you send it to me.
5. When you write to me
If you contact me by email (from the app or this website), I receive your email address and your message. I use them only to reply and improve the app, never share them, and delete them on request.
6. What Apple does
The app is downloaded through the App Store, under Apple's responsibility. If you agreed to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may provide me with aggregated, anonymous statistics (download counts, crash reports). I have no access to any individual data about you.
7. This website
- No cookies, no analytics, no trackers. The site loads no external resources (fonts, scripts, videos).
- The calendar demo on the home page runs entirely in your browser: nothing is stored or sent, and everything disappears when you close the page.
- Like any web server, the server hosting this site keeps technical logs (IP address, date, requested page, browser) for security and reliability. They are deleted automatically after 14 days and never used for anything else.
8. Children
The app is rated 4+ and can be used by anyone. Since it collects no data, no information is collected from children.
9. Your rights
Since your data stays on your device, you are fully in control: you can edit or erase any day in the app, and deleting the app erases all of its data. For emails you sent me, you have the right to access, correct and delete them (GDPR): write to alexandre@noret.eu. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL, or your local authority.
10. Changes
If the way the app works changes (for example, if sync is added), this page will be updated before the new version is released, and the date at the top will change.
